The lure looked perfect in the packaging. Then it just rolled around in the water.
You have seen the jointed lures that look like a real fish in the photo. Then they arrive, swim off to one side, spin at the slightest speed or come apart at the joints after a few casts. What was meant to bring more bites became an expensive lure that stays in the tackle box.
You have probably already tried one of these:
- Cheap jointed lures - look nice, but roll, spin or need tuning before they even swim right.
- Spoons and spinners - reliable but monotonous. The predators have seen them a thousand times and bite ever less often.
- Expensive specialist swimbaits - swim well, but cost a fortune and need heavy specialist gear you do not have.
Our SwimStrike solves what the others could not: a jointed lure that swims true to life straight out of the packaging, on the spinning gear you already fish with.
The upgrade that brings more bites without expensive specialist lures
Rated 5 stars by anglers everywhere. SwimStrike has a jointed body that rocks from side to side like a real baitfish, even on a normal retrieve. A lifelike action that triggers even cautious predators, without you having to change gear or relearn anything.
- Swims true to life straight out of the packaging
- Works on perch, pike, trout, zander and rainbow trout
- 7.5 cm and 15 g for ordinary spinning gear
- Stainless hooks and stable joints that last
- Affordable enough to fish hard without fussing over it
Everything that makes the lure catch more and last longer
Jointed body that rocks
Several joints let the body sway from side to side on the retrieve. That gives the S-shaped action that makes a predator believe it is a live baitfish.
3D eyes and lifelike detail
Realistic eyes and carefully chosen colours make the lure hard to tell from a real fish in the water, even for a cautious predator up close.
Stainless hooks
Sharp stainless-steel treble hooks give secure hook-ups and do not rust after a wet fishing trip. Ready to be fished time and again.
Stable joints that last
The joints are built to take repeated strikes without coming loose or working slack. Not a cheap lure that falls apart after the first pike.
A lure for mixed predator fishing on ordinary gear
Lake or mountain water, from the bank or a boat. SwimStrike is made for you if you fish perch, pike, trout, zander or rainbow trout and want to upgrade from the spoon and spinner without buying expensive specialist gear.
- Length: 7.5 cm
- Weight: 15 grams
- Joints: Several, for a natural action
- Hooks: Stainless treble hooks
- Eyes: 3D holographic
- Suits: Perch, pike, trout, zander, rainbow trout
Fishing for pike? Use a thin leader in leader material or fluorocarbon so pike teeth do not cut the line, while the lure keeps its free movement. Too heavy a wire leader can dampen the action.
It is the movement, not the colour, that triggers the predator
Predators hunt on movement and profile. SwimStrike is built so the movement looks alive on a normal retrieve, not just in the photo.
1. The joints create the S-action
The body is split into several segments that move independently of one another. That gives the rocking side-to-side motion a stiff spoon or spinner can never imitate.
2. The profile resembles a baitfish
Size, shape and 3D eyes match the small fish the predator already hunts. It recognises the prey and strikes on instinct, even when it is cautious.
3. Short twitches imitate an injured fish
Mix the retrieve with short twitches and the lure makes irregular darts, just like an injured baitfish. That is often what triggers the strike from a hesitant predator.
What our anglers say
"Sceptical as usual - I have tried several jointed lures that just spun. This one swam right from the first cast and I caught perch straight away. This one is not staying in the box."

Three ways to make the lure come alive in the water
1. Retrieve steadily
Start with a steady, fairly quick retrieve. Even then the jointed body rocks naturally from side to side. Experiment to find the speed where the action looks best.
2. Add short twitches
Mix in short twitches of the rod so the lure makes irregular darts, like an injured fish. That often triggers the strike from a hesitant predator.
3. Pause and vary
Stop now and then and let the lure sink for a short moment before you retrieve on. Switch between speeds until you find what the fish wants that day.
Frequently asked questions
Does it swim right straight away, or do I have to tune it?
It swims true to life straight out of the packaging on a normal retrieve. You do not need to bend eyelets or tune anything. Just experiment to find the retrieve speed where the action looks best in the water.
Which species does it suit?
It is made for mixed Nordic predator fishing and has shown results on perch, pike, trout, zander and rainbow trout. A lure that covers many situations rather than a specialist lure for a single species.
Does it work with a leader when I fish for pike?
Yes. Use a thin leader in leader material or fluorocarbon so pike teeth do not cut the line. Avoid too heavy a wire leader, as it can dampen the lure's free movement. A thin, supple leader lets the action stay.
Do the joints hold up strike after strike?
The joints are built to take repeated strikes without working slack or coming loose, and the hooks are stainless steel. That is exactly the weak point on cheap jointed lures we have designed out.
Do I need special gear?
No. At 7.5 cm and 15 grams it suits ordinary spinning gear. You do not need the heavy specialist casting gear that big swimbaits require.
